Canon Vixia HF G10 anyone?
Bought this camera a month ago and am just now getting around to running some initial tests with it.
Does anyone have any good tips? I purchased it for the new sensor and the low light performance (which I'm really pleased with, more so than any other camera I've had in the past). Other than shooting in 24p, I'm wondering how to make it look more like film in both post with editing, and lenses. Any tips or tools would greatly be appreciated ![]()

strangely enough.. I found out recently that there really isn't a big difference between the HF G10, and the HF M40. Which is half of the price. The only real difference, is that the G10 has native 24p. But with post, I'm not even sure if that's totally necessary. Take a look at camcorderinfo.com "the best" camcorders: http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ratings.php The HF M40 is at number 4! That's crazy for the money, $450. Reading the articles they had a hard time seeing the difference in the footage for the G10 v. the M40. Anyways, I'm looking for some clever ways to obtain that "film look" in post or with some lenses, would love any advice if anyone has it!
