I don't feel like turning my house into a whiteboard.

you probably don't have a biz that needs white-board to work stuff out. I do, all the agencies do, production companies do. figure most web sites do $.02

No, I think white-boards are awesome to work stuff out. In board rooms or someone's office. But to transform my living room into a big white board? Prolly not.

This is a good idea for some office environments for sure.

Great idea, someone will do well with that. I dont see it being marketed to do living rooms and bedrooms, except maybe kids rooms.

It's funny you mention this. I'm going to paint my entire office with this stuff in a couple weeks.

Only problem is it's kinda expensive. You can easily mount regular white boards for the same price.

Not familiar with that but I've seen chalk board paint used.

It's like a black board - the paint can be erased. Looks pretty interesting.

Wow, I was JUST thinking about having a whiteboard wall today. Weird lol. But I don't really see me using it much, I can jot ideas down in notepad much faster.

Can anyone name some good uses a webmaster would have for this stuff? I have a big whiteboard already that I don't use because I can't think of any practical use for it..

I keep a whiteboard marker in my shower, I always get good ideas and write them on the white tiles.

For anyone who is serious about doing this... it suggests using a latex primer on the instructions. But it specifically says it's for "new drywall". It says drywall that is already painted doesn't need a primer.

I think it absolutely does need a primer.

I didn't use one, and I think it would have been a lot better if I had both sanded the shit out of my drywall to remove the texture, AND used a primer. I think I can see a bit of my existing paint under the Rust-Oleum white board paint. And I used every last drop to cover a 5' x 5' portion of the wall. Said it should cover up to 7' x 7'.
