Does Cameron Have the Balls???

The doom merchants are wailing their tales of woe if the Euro collapses. Merkozi are talking about how the EU has prevented wars. They have fucked up big time with their tawdy little Euro but see it as an opportunity to economically and politically take over the continent.

Whats the UK doing? Sending our a Prime Minister who is acting like a headless chicken and looks like a crap poker player.. Get in there and tell em to fuck off.. They want to bring UK in line by threatening at financial services transaction tax..

Cameron.. 'please don't do that.. If you don't we'll agree to everything else you want to do..'

Tell em to fuck off.. they created the problem why should sort it out for them?

Tell'em how much better off UK would be by coming out of the EU..

- We are not dependent on EU for a successful economy. We import from EU more than we export to them.
- The social rules and regulations are making Europe uncompetitive.
- EU law inc. human rights law has created a fees fest for all these fucking lawyers and undermined all our law.

Coming out of the EU would have a hard transition period for the UK, but that will be better than years and years of austerity. (Watch out for many riots in European capitals). It would release us from all this legislation that is making us uncompetitive, so we can start making things again.

Come on Cameron - have some balls!!

btw - some of my best friends are european!

Not really whining when someone tries to tax your biggest industry. Problem with financials is they can move, so if it's not a global tax things just move out of the EU. Less money for the UK means less money for EU.

And with the Euro the UK didn't join because the economy runs on a different cycle, same as Spain, that's why they're so fucked.

When Spain was booming, Germany/France weren't. SO the ECB kept rates low. The Spanish went $$ crazy, if they'd had control of their interest rates could have slowed the economy with rate hikes.

France is only sucking up cause they realise they're as fucked as everyone else, the elections there next year will be fun.

I'd love Spain to leave the euro, My income would go up about 30% overnight. Spain would become cheap again for living and manufacturing.

i wish people would be more informed about this.

first of all the tax would be so low that it would be hardly noticed per transaction.

and second the tax would be on those kind of transactions that have no economic sense, are highly automated and part of the problem we have rght now anyways.

nothing would happen if the whole EU would introduce it - but no, Cameron has indeed no balls, he's too pussy to stand up against his party and the EU haters.

That's what the politicians have been telling you but it doesn't make sense from an economic point of view. By taxing (and thus discouraging) those transactions, you'd essentially take the liquidity out of the market.

here's you horrifying tax:

Quote:
0.1% on stock and bond trades and 0.01% on derivatives
if you really believe that for that tax people would move whole companies and their business out of the EU then I can't help you

Creating the EU was a major mistake. Now everyone knows why. Who made money on the deal? Banks... They find this all very amusing because now they can make even more money fixing what they created.

and 0.0% on those exact same stock, bond & derivatives trades made anywhere else on the globe

Has the penny dropped yet? It isn't exactly rocket surgery

I'm informed I used to work as a swaps accountant in London, and if you're doing 100 million dollar swaps then any % however low is a lot of money. All that $$ that the banks make will just go out of the EU.

nothing would happen if the whole world introduced it, that would be a good thing, but eu wide just means it all moves to the US and the UK loses £50nillion of tax revenue overnight. would this proposal happen if it was the german car market that was goingto be crushed at a stroke?
