How to form advertising price?

How do you think is best to form price per click if I want to sell it to someone?
Traffic is exclusively niche (no tgp, bulhsit, toplists, shits), mostly SE traffic on my blogs network (or from relevant link trades). Not big amount, but as I've told real traffic for my niche from my blogs network.

Any idea how much per 1k clicks of targeted traffic ?

thanks

more than you already make from that traffic is a good starting point...

It is not organized traffic (in this moment), I've never put banners on those sites and can't make conclusion how much I am making because I don't have statistics for clicks in this moment, but with proper software, I will be able to unify and send traffic to one place with precise number of clicks. And those will be advertisers, so I need some info about what is acceptable for people, to make calculations

I would never sell traffic per click, because you make nothing.. just cents, after sending a lot of traffic that could convert with a fetish paysite and make way more than selling it to someone..

What I recommend is selling ads for a fixed fee, like I do in mainstream.

For example you sell an add for 25 dollars per month, with minimum 3 months..

Although this sounds like impossible right now, because nobody pays anything in adult and people just have no money. Even sponsors are cheap right now, they don't buy shit like in the past where you could sell a sponsor a banner ad in your average blog. Nobody buys shit now. I really wonder why.

And even if you can put an ad for sell on juicy ads or some of those new exo or ero advertising places, nobody buys it, unless you are part of the 1% who owns a massive tube. The ad can stay there for years and nobody will buy it. I wonder why? Why sponsors? Why you dont buy ads anymore? Give affiliates a chance.. It's impossible if you only buy on the 1% of tubes that own the business.. You let all affiliates die that way.

But for affiliates it seems like impossible right now, because adult is in its worse time ever.

Just try to send it to fetish paysites that convert and try to start in mainstream where companies actually buy ads for fixed fees amount and you don't have to waste your traffic.

you are best off putting up your own campaigns and setting tracking codes for each zone you want to sell, that would give you a good starting point as to what you will make from the zone yourself not selling it. Remember, that there are buyers out there that seriously optimize, and refine their ads to extract the maximum performance from each buy, something you may not have the time, or energy to spend on.

Option #2, find an advertiser you trust, give them a free test, and ask them what they would pay. Or there is option #3, turn it over to an ad agency who will be able to run a run of network campaign, and the should be able to track impressions, clicks etc.

If you have impression stats for the sites that each banner or ad placement will appear, you have a pretty good starting point. Remember that selling clicks relies on the advertisers having creatives that achieve a certain min CTR, and unless you are controlling the creatives that are sending the clicks, or have the time to monitor and make sure that high CTR creatives are being weighted more heavily, you may be better off selling CPM instead.

thank you guys for your suggestions.
It is true that it would probably better for me to use spots for myself and that's what I will probably do, but sometimes I need some fast bonus cash for example. I could sell CPM but regarding my opinion (I am completely without experience in this so maybe I am talking shit),it would be in buyers best interest to buy real click from highly targeted traffic not just impressions. Impressions are cool for me, but I want from buyer to feel real use of campaign and not just to take him money and take next client. Oh yes, and I am just setting software for tracking clicks and impressions and will test it soon

A lot of times it's easier for a person to sell the ad space on their site than sit around trying all sorts of different sponsors and sites for months on end and make next to nothing.

And it only seems impossible for the lazy affiliates. The hard working ones are doing fine.

So, are you saying you put an ad for sale in your blogs and people contact you to buy the ad? Examples?

I don't know what you mean with LAZY and hard working, great way to gain enemies btw... but if you consider your self hard working and others lazy, you probably need to put your feet on earth, dude.

Do you only deal with massive sites in your network?

I see most huge and massive sites there.

Do average blogs have a chance? Or how can an average blog sell hardlinks and ads?

Is that business only possible for the biggest sites? Really wondering.

I think he wanted to say that if you already have system ready to sell adds, it is more eaisy to get money that way then to test all those sponsors, type of banners, zones, conversons, etc. even if you make less, you can use time saved for other projects or network updating.time is money

Anyone can sell ads. The trick is finding the right buyer and making sure pricing is realistic. I only mention that siteowners should run their own ads so they know what their traffic quality is like. Even if they are keeping 50% while selling the rest. We have several siteowners with smaller networks, who have advertisers renewing month after month.
