Whoever did that has mad skills. Not something you're going to pick-up from a tutorial.

what makes you think that's not a real painting, or hand rendered?

i guess a plugin could do something similar, the image is not that complex.

Search on youtube for tutorials on cartooning images or making photos GTA style. I don't think you can get the same results but you can probably get close.

Lot of that type of work is done with illustrator. The work is nuts and I can only assume it's fairly expensive.

As stated above your best bet would be searching for a plugin via google.
ill do a google search in a sec for ya. and see if I can find anything decent.

here is a very good illustrator that does this type of work for mainstream.

that's an illustration from scratch not a photograph that's been photoshopped. could probably get something similar done on the freelancer sites for a couple hundred dollars.

Here is a tutorial on how to do it with illustrator.
You gotta be good to figure out the gradients and meshes to make it realistic.

Best of luck

I just thought of something thta may be useful for you.
Check out http://graphicriver.net/category/vec...racters/people

Look through the images and see if there is anything realistic enough for ya.

There is usually an email for the artist on their product pages. If there aren't there is always a comments tab and you can get a hold of them that way.

The problem:
These guys are mainstream and if you want a chick showing her labias and shit lmao, prob not gonna fly. I dont know about the example you showed me but it looks like shes dressed. You may be able to talk someone into drawing a creative nude or something.

Here is a kind of tooney but detailed-ish example.

This will give mainstream hubby a justifiable reason to look at naked chicks and get paid...Dear,.. it's work! some guy needs this naked picture done. It's what I do hun, graphical arts.
