It's because you can add funds to your NameCheap account with paypal. Super easy to have fake whois info with them.. It's probably the one thing I dislike about NameCheap.

A majority of registrars allow PayPal. It's almost like a safe haven to be honest. Demand Media (ENOM) was one of the worst companies to deal with scum (phishing, C & C servers, etc). Doesn't seem like they give a shit.

One of the reasons I like GoDaddy is because they actually take action versus sitting on their ass and cashing in.
