XLVIII looks more intriguing than 48.

I get the tradition part of it, and am not asking for a change, but I think if they do change it, it should just switch to the year, i.e. SuperBowl 2012. Wait, that sounds like a video game...

I don't see the point of complaining because when they speak the number of the game they don't actually say the roman numerals...they say "super bowl thirty-eight"....so is your gripe merely with logo/merchandise because that's the only place the roman numerals are reallly used
