Need advice re: starting a cam studio

I am about to start a side project of putting together a cam studio with some non US Latinas. They will all be working remotely from their various homes and the main value I provide for the girls is:

1) Paying the girls a salary for a limited time while they figure out whether the commission is good enough for them.

2) Making sure they have adequate PC equipment and internet connections and subsidizing those costs while they start up

3) Getting their payments to them on time in countries where this is not the easiest thing to do.

What I need to know is what companies to sign up for, I guess LiveJasmine and Streammate are both obvious, surely there are others.

My main concern is how to keep them from running off on me once I make the initial investment. I have made a few attempts at this but with out any real effort going into it and of course failed, this time I have a solid plan and resources ready to put in.

Good luck with that plan, you are going to need it. Without a person physically managing a studio down there, I wouldn't even bother.

if you go for it, sign them up to MFC, depending on their English skills and personalities some will do great on it.

Cant offer advice. But my gut feeling tells me this is gonna bring you lots of troubles.

I have people on the ground doing the legwork, and an actual affiliate network in these countries driving traffic to my network of content sites, so there is a management and payment structure in place.

So far we have not worked with any content production or camgirls.

I am not going to start a physical studio because recently some have been shut down by the government because the local management was selling the girls to locals out the backdoor.

Knowing the area like I do, I cant think of any way to prevent this, so it seems like the solution is just to do everything in a virtual space to avoid responsibility for running afoul of any pimping laws.

Do they have decent broadband down there? At least 1 mbps Up per connection?

Yes they do. 750k is standard but 1MB and 1.5 MB are available if you're not too far out in the sticks.

A lot depends on the true motivation for setting up the studio.

If it is purely business, and you will not be in attendance, then there are many pitfalls and you should not invest more than you can afford to lose. You can reduce the risk, (but not remove it) by making sure that the money comes to you initially, and that you have a quick and cheap way to pay it out. Understanding this aspect is very important. Payout costs can quickly eat profits on small payouts. There are a couple of tricks I used when managing studios remote, that might help you but I am not going to post them here so if you want to know contact me via online support in the site in my sig.

If you are doing this to help out a "friend" (as many studios start out as) then obviously, the situation is a little different and will depend on what your objectives are.
