The commenters seem to be spewing the same rhetoric as the Anti-SOPA people.

Here's some noteworthy comments stating their pirate agenda:

The entertainment industry paid good money to Obama's Injustice Department and the fat cats at Congress for special favors, and this is it. Thanks to all the C-H-A-N-G-E voters, the lobbyists, and their ilk for supporting the emasculation of our freedoms. It's not "We the People" anymore. It's the corporations that are the politicians' people. Useful idiots!

Translation: "Keep the internet free and open... and by 'free' I mean I should be able to download whatever I want without paying."

There's already a lot of people from all around the world complaining about the legitimate files they've lost due to this (some very important college files, some others from work, even medical ones). This will harm a lot of good people who probably never used MegaUpload for copyright content, anyway (I'm sure some of them did but this is just the worse way to handle the problem. Why didn't they gave some warning so people could try to recover what they left there, trusting this "Cloud" concept?).

The damage to the image of US and their legal system is just enormous... This is a sad day for freedom, justice, US and of course, the Internet as we know it.

Who keeps "legitimate files" on file lockers? Oh that's right, pirates do.

I don't get what SOPA and PIPA is really trying to achieve. No matter how hard they try, there will always be piracy, whether they like it or not. Shutting down these sharing sites will only slow down the process a bit, it's like drug wars, you can never win against shady people. If they really think these piracy acts really hurt the entertainment industry, they are hugely misinformed. Do they not look at the box office? Most big movies make an average of over $100 million. We can't let bunch of old motherfuckers control the web.

Translation: You can't win, so you should give up. Oh yes, and apparently piracy doesn't hurt the internet. People will always pay, despite being able to get it for free elsewhere by some asshole who distributes it on a torrent or a piracy forum.

What the hell is going on here, a censorship of the Internet ?

These people are exactly what's wrong with our current situation. And there's soooo many of them! Their ridiculous commentary is never-ending.
