Giants vs 49'ers Whos gonna win?

Im flying out from Fl. for the game. If both D's show up as in previous weeks its going to be a very close game. Fewest mistakes wins this game.

Im ALL IN for Big Blue!

My gut says Giants but if SF shows up like they did in the 4th quarter against Saints they will steamroll.

Always bet on burgundy and gold.....San Fran all the way...remember all year long...

they can't win...they need a quarter back...they need offense...they struggle in the red zone....they scrub harder for some clients....

oops I mean dog ate the homework....I mean they have not played anybody....they have a week division....they they they

Like Vernon Davis said all year long the 49ers have been the team that can't.....and now they can't wait to become the team that did

should be a great game - both teams come into it with lots of confidence. Niners have a tiny edge with home field advantage but anybody who makes a claim that one of these teams is demonstrably better than the other is an idiot.

i wouldn't bet this game but if I did i'd be betting on the Giants, for one reason, Eli Manning. I like him better than Peyton, he just loves playing under pressure, proving himself. I think being the younger brother has instilled that drive in him.

i read a stat today that Alex Smith was the most sacked QB in the NFL this year with 44 sacks.

with the Giants D line that could get interesting

Shows he has come a long way. Most sacks but fewest INTs. The front four of the NYG is the best in the league so it will be interesting. NO exposed SF in the passing game too which is a strength for the Giants. I think it will be a tough win for SF but Im still taking them to win and cover the 2.5.

here is my thought on the NO vs SF game

NO turned the ball over 5 times and still almost won that game

Yes, but they did not win and that is all that matters. Eli is not prone to the turn overs.

Just checked the odds:

Giants 5/4

49ers 4/6

As a Niners fan I'm pulling for them to win. It will be a hell of a defensive game so the Niners will need Smith to show up ready to play again to pull it off. I'm predicting a low scoring game with whoever gets the ball with under 2 to go pulls out the win. Niners win 20 to 17.

It's like nobody watched the game. Saints took the lead at the end if nobody remembers, 49ers stepped up as needed and when it counted. I hadn't watched one of their games prior so never knew what everyone was talking about but they play the Giants like that it should be a great game.

I feel pity for whoever missed that game...I was in family dollar yesterday and over heard people who were not even 49er fans talking about the game it was epic...pure heartfelt determination and refusal to lose.

The giants are nothing to play with, and very capable, but we all know until the 49ers bring home that lombardi many will still doubt....and even then the lombardi won't be good enough to convince some people that the 49ers are for real

I like the Giants chances and hoping they pull it off. The 49ers are very sound team and should not be taken lightly. Looking forward to a great game.

the niners are going to blowout the giants. It will be a laugher, nobody sees it coming.

giants are all about the big pass play. Thats about it. niners have the skills to keep eli & co contained.

With the recent win streak, people forget how bad the gmen can be on offense. Put some pressure on eli, cover those receivers, gmen are useless.

the giants also have a crappy secondary. Packers wideouts had some seriously open spots. Secondary will get exploited when the blitz is on.

it was a nice season for the gmen. But when their fans expect them to win, they choke.

.

Close game, special teams may win it.
9ers have an all pro punter and Ted Ginn returning kicks...

Giants last returned a kick when... wasnt it Dixon? And they kicker kicks off out of bounds last week.

I hope the Giants win, but if it comes down to special teams the 9ers have a big edge. Especially at home.

Its going to be a nail bitter.

After watching the Giants disassemble the Packers last week I have to admit I was really amazed at the Giants team and their confidence. Eli Manning has a lot more experience then Alex and seems to have a better line protecting him which really could make the difference.

BUT... the Niners are playing at home, the crowd is going to be insane and like all year it seems the niners don't really show up until they have to. Alex seems to be a real clutch player. I'd like to see the stats on how many games they truly won in the fourth quarter or in the last 5 mins.

Go Niners! If they win the bay area is going to be going crazy and last weekends win was one of the best games I've ever seen.

Can't wait for Sunday!
