Is this normal? re: Revshare

I tested a program in july, sent some traffic through and got one sale. Two months go by with no sales/rebills, then on the 3rd month, october, I get a rebill. Two more months go by with no sales/rebills, then in janurary I get another rebill.

My question is what is happening to the months between where no rebill occured? I guess that the guy could have cancelled his membership for two months, then reorded, cancelled a month afterwards, and did the same thing again in january, but I can't be sure.

What are your thoughts? I'll leave the program outta this thread for now.

They're quite a large program, but I've only got $30 tied up with them so I'm not concerned about losing my earnings. But I'll wait for a few more responses before posting the company.

If this is the case, I would be happy. 3-month recurring revshare option is one of the best

Never promote revshare. You will get fucked in the end. Opt for PPS.

The obvious answer is a 90 day join option - DUH!

The not so obvious answer is if they use step down and retry billing with their gateway processor like netbilling or others that try to rebill the customer after they are declined.

Revengebucks has always utilized stepdown rebilling and retires like this, where if a customer's card fails to rebill for $39, we will try and bill him $29, $19, all the way down to $9. Most companies don't typically payout on these... but we do!

Like you, our other merchants do very well with step down rebilling and it is all built into our system and can be configured on fixed amounts or percentages as well.
