Looking for some fresh themes related to running a wordpress mu site.

Depends on what type of a WordPress multisite you are looking to run.

If you were running one where you would have multiple users, then a highly configurable theme would be the key.

Yeah looking to run one with multiple users.... running it as a service... not for just myself..

It's a relative new framework but only a handful of themes on offer. Has a front end editor which is the closest thing to tumblr that've seen.

Would be pretty straight forward using the backend to create adult specific themes for it.
