4,161 clicks resulted from that one million in this 8.5 days period.

zero signups..and the cost was just shy of $200
I'm using the affliates own landing page as the page where this traffic goes.

So for those of you that know this game, I seek advice.

do I try another affliate/program and its landing page with this traffic source?
or is 41 hundred visits over 9 days not enough volume to make a judgement like that?

I signed up with you guys back in 99 or 2000. I was very impressed with your models and the quality of the video. back in those days it was a feat and a half to see clear sharp color video with almost no lag. I envisioned my empire taken off for the heavens.

What is the source of said traffic? If you are talking a bunch of crap ass tube traffic then this is not surprising at all.

If this is traffic you bought from one of those traffic networks, see above.

If however you are talking quality SE traffic, then it's time you find a new sponsor to work with.

Yeah man, Even shit traffic can convert if it's easy enough.
The problem is 4k clicks is going to convert to less than $200 if you use the $1 sign up at chaturbate.
So you're not going to get any ROI.
However. If you roll with the REV share you never know. You're rolling the dice. You may catch a spender and you may not.
Certainly worth a shot IMO.
I know I make good money from chaturbate and I can just about guarantee you I'm doing it all wrong.. lol

plus try dating gold or loaded cash, they pay per lead.
also it seems you had 0.4% ctr and used default banners, always better to make your own which look like somebody "unskilled" done them, not that promo banners which never converts.

Don't spend $200 to see it, use what I suggest.

I agree, any source you should be pulling at least 1.5% with a good banner and also product.

Also, many of the affiliates I see having success are also building their own landing pages.

Last, there's quit a number of member websites that guys are having success with, I don't want to betray any of our advertisers trust by posting what the promote on GFY, but the common thing they all seem to have is unique content not cookie cutter DVD type stuff.

(either your banner or your text ad were not attractive enough to incite a click, or your ads were not in a highly visible area i.e.: buried in with a ton of other ads or just a bad position). but $200 for 4,161 clicks will never be profitable for you..

I would test out different banners and text to increase the number of clicks.. and yes, if you were 0:4161, you might want to try another program.

And you would probably be better off sending the traffic to a site of your own with multiple programs/sites than sending direct to one site in an affiliate program.

yeah that would be another drama novela. not interested in doing that. besides its entirely possible as someone has suggested that my .4% ctr is due to my poor choice in text and or graphics. Or it could be the spondors page sucks ass. or his stats are full of shit. or the ad broker has me buried.

Why I posted this thread was to hear the thoughts of those who are much more experienced at this than I am. I need to hear how my stats stood as seen by experienced eyes.

I'm 13 hours into the new campaign and the clicks are beating the shit outta webcams clicks. and STILL I have a 0.4 CTR.

and then theres the descrepency between visits that google says I have and the clicks that the ad broker says I got. like more than 2:1. Is that normal? is google behind in the count and they'll catch up? is my broker BSing me? or am I the newbie who dosnt know clicks and visits are not the same thing?

an update since switching to new keywords and a new targeted niche and landing page
these are totals since friday midnight or 2.5 days:

415,045 impressions

1,901 clicks

0.46% CTR

$0.06 CPC

of those clicks for the ad, those clicks that went onto my sonsors pages
336 uniques with 123 clicks moving onto the join page

Google says 2,201 unique visitors with 2.55% returning visits or 57 returning visits

its all very encouraging, until you read
0 sales
I understand I cant have an expectation that 336 visits to my sponsor will resullt in a sale, still you hope for 1 or 2 dont ya?


One person had mentioned my adbrokers CTR is shit. Is that the view of others as well? should I bring this up to them monday?

In the future don't use that traffic provider and send all banner clicked traffic directly to the tour pages, you don't want to lose the visitor on a FHG, they already showed interest when clicking on the banner
