You are right that it's a motivational speech, he does that very well. At the same time I can understand the Iraqi Police not being motivated, their country is occupied, they've effectively got to be traitors or die, they have probably found a compromise of their own.

Basically, what we did was "liberate" Iraq from stability, order, and Saddam-conducted brutality and delivered it to a Shia dominated government which is pushing for a civil war against the Sunni minority. As the Sunni-Shia civil war develops in Iraq, we will see that al-Qaeda has returned as a part of the Sunni forces that are organizing to fight against the U.S.-made, Iran-supported Shia tyranny in Baghdad. We replaced one tyrannical government with another, and as you can see from reading that article, Al-Qaeda is alive and well in Iraq. Iraq was a terrible defeat for the U.S. This soldier's frustration is a clear example of the clusterfuck we got involved in over there. Complete waste of 4,600 lives.

Let me ask you something: do you think it was worth a trillion dollars, regional instability, 4,600 dead soldiers and Marines, and 30,000-plus wounded to oust Saddam in favor of a new theocratic and tyrannical government? We accomplished nothing in Iraq. There are still Iraqi civilians being killed on a daily basis, there are still Muslim fanatic terrorists - although, they never had WMD's to begin with - and there will be NO Western/ Christian/ Capitalist/ Freedom in Iraq anytime soon - to even suggest that is laughable.

you're a fucking idiot... saddam had some type of stability in the region, it will take iraq many many many years just to get to that level before usa army leveled them... even bush said that they were wrong and there was no weapons of mass distruction, it's funny how they don't even mention it anywhere, usa murdered a ton of people with no real reason... if it was Russia or China fucking some country up it would be on the news 24/7 with a ton of coverage and alot of "communists are back" and "cold war started again"
