R.I.P Buck Compton (Band of brothers)

I've always had incredible respect for the greastest generation because they did what they were told, died so others could live and never felt like heroes. I doubt we will ever see a generation like that again.

RIP Buck.

Lynn D. Compton, a lawyer and later a judge who was best known for leading the prosecution of Sirhan B. Sirhan for the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy — that is, until more than 20 years later when his heroism during World War II was made public in “Band of Brothers,” the best-selling book by Stephen E. Ambrose and the subsequent HBO miniseries, died on Saturday at his home in Burlington, Wash. He was 90.

It might have been posted before but I don't care. You can't honour heroes too much.

Tom Hanks & Steven Spielberg really did an amazing job on that entire series.

I didn't see any news about it.

I almost panic when these soldiers die and leave us behind. Imagine the things they went through to make sure we could live a good life today.
