Minutes ago, I sent the below email to [email protected] as notice and follow-up to past correspondence exhorting ICM not to allow any registrations that include my trademarked name Dave Cummings that was approved in 2002. The 10-year ($500) renewal of my Trademark has recently been approved by the U.S. Government Patent and Trademark office --- below is a copy of today's email notification to ICM:

"Update.

Per our past correspondence regarding my TradeMark, (i.e., Dave Cummings) please be advised, and take appropriate action at your end to insure that NO .xxx sites containing my Trademarked Dave Cummings name are ever registered by anyone during, at least, the next 10 years that USPTO has my mark registered to me; USPTO has recently notified me that my Mark (Dave Cummings) has been accepted and approved for renewal. Reg Number is 2571144. I will not be registering .xxx domains, including any of my Dave Cummings domains with ICM; I request that ICM insure that my mark is not included in any present or future .xxx registrations by any other persons or entities.

Please confirm receipt of this notice."

I have not, and will not register any .xxx domains.

Earlier correspondence resulted in icm suggesting I participate in their programs --I did NOT, though; now that my trademark has been extended for another 10 years, they have no reason to wait in case I had overlooked the need to apply for trademark renewal.
