i lost money too with ftp went down.... but if ftp werent being shady as fuck this guy would not have had the chance to take them down... he just did what they asked him to do, and then took a little off the top for himself.

its not like he stole a bunch of money and then told the feds that he was 100% responsible and ftp was in the right and the feds decided to pull the plug
