Wouldn't say kicking someone's car is rude. Rude is giving someone the finger or swearing at them. Kicking the car is damaging property. Which is more than rude.

Can anyone take a guess as to what kind of camera the shooter was using? It's so smooth. Since it started inside the car I would imagine that it's not a physical steady-cam mount unless it was really tiny... any ideas?

1) kicking a car is super trivial...its completely and utterly not in the same league as attempted murder...a kick to a metal object is ridiculous...

2) she was not acting out of self defense she was acting out of pure bitch rage...him kicking her car was certainly NOT unprovoked...car drivers like to intentionally block off motorbikes I know because I ride them...man if you are asshole enough to block me in traffic for no reason other than trolling then be prepared for the consequences ...

Passing on the right is usually not legal and not very safe. That is not what was happening in the video though.

So the biker didn't want to wait in line like everybody else. He then gets pissed off because he gets a remark about that (I assume that's what they were "talking" about) and initiates the use of force against her property.

Do I think what she did was stupid? Of course it was. Do I think the biker was a victim here? hell no. Honestly, I too had a "serves him right" kinda feeling when I saw that video.

Would I have reacted the same way she did? Of course not. About 2 years ago I was in my car on a highway... There had been an accident and all cars were standing still. None of the cars in all 3 lanes had really moved for about 10 minutes. Suddenly a biker comes by on my right side and he folds my mirror so he can get by. Did he put it back in the right position? No. Did he have the right to do that? No. Had I moved to cut him off? Of course not, I had been standing still for minutes. Did I try to hit him with my car? No. I simply thought by myself "what a jerk".

Next thing, I see that biker hitting the side of another car as he's trying to get through. The driver of the car got out and approached the biker, the biker yelled something and moved on. What did I do? Recorded the whole thing on my phone. I got out of my car, gave the driver my card and told him to email me if he wanted a copy of the video. I was later told that the biker ended up paying for some paint job.

We all sometimes get pissed off by the way other people drive. And I understand people tend to identify themselves with others. Of course some bikers will identify themselves with the biker in the video. And people who have had bad experiences with bikers in traffic will feel some schadenfreude when they watch the video. But the fact remains: If you don't respect other people's property rights, don't be surprised if someday someone will react. If you think a bad word or middle finger from a driver justifies you kicking his car or breaking off his mirror, then don't be surprised if that driver also overreacts and hits you with his car.

Like I said, if you expect others to respect your property rights, you have to start with respecting their property rights. No matter how much you disagree with their opinion or how much you dislike their driving style or choice of vehicle or how wrong you think their choice of lane or direction or whatever was, those things never justify the initiation of force.

People love to cut off bikers in traffic jams for no reason other than hate or envy. If you do not ride a bike you do not know what I am talking about, and you would be surprised how often it happens. I am not defending asshole bike riders who ride like...well assholes
