Paxum card takes a month to "print"?

I applied for a Paxum Mastercard a month ago and the status is still "printing". Any emails to their support just receive the response that the card will be mailed "within the next few days". But they first said that 2 weeks ago now.

I just wondered how long it took other others to have their card printed? The Paxum website says "This process can take up to 12 business days" so not sure why mine is taking so long...

Thanks,
Matt

its because your name is _matthew_

Its a HIGH RISK Name...

KingNigel 04-10-2012 03:13 AM

Mine took approximately 3 weeks to arrive.

I'd assume they order many at a time. Maybe they are waiting for some more accounts to be created so they can reach their print quota.

Just pulled that out of my ass but it makes sense to me.

I can look into that for you. As stated on the website it can take up to 12 business days for your status to change from printing to shipped.

2 T's take a really long time to print.

Should have only had one in your name.

lagcam 04-10-2012 05:17 AM

It obviously depends upon how long your name is.

I think the industry standard time is 1 day per letter.

Thanks for the responses. If it's one day per letter I should have received it by now :)

I've emailed you Chris...

Lost my Costco Amex credit card with my photo on it. Got my replacement via fed ex AT NO CHARGE within 3 days.

..there is only one "t" in my name though.

Chris confirmed that it's a bug and the status was listed as "printing" even though it had actually been shipped - guess that is your problem too.

suesheboy 04-11-2012 04:12 AM

...post in this when you get it.

Funny how when I was programming in a bank and wall street we never had "bugs".

It was hammered into us that errors are unacceptable and faith in accuracy is what keeps them in business.

lucas131 04-11-2012 04:15 AM

i have printed mine myself

nextri 04-11-2012 04:29 AM

Mine changed now. after a ticket response.
It now says:
Printing
(This process can take up to 12 business days)
Printing on 2012-04-02

Card was ordered on march 23rd.

I ordered the express shipping because I hoped to get the card before april 13th when I was going on a trip. Seems unlikely now. express shipping seems a bit meaningless if it first takes 3 weeks to a month to get it ordered and printed. Must be a very slow printer :P

Other than that I'm fairly satisfied with paxum..

this week was great, did a banner order for paxum and was paid via paxum. was a like whoa type cool moment heheh

My card has now arrived, however on trying to activate it I get the error:

Quote:

There was a problem during card activation process. The card may be already active, otherwise please try again later.
So I cannot use it :Oh crap

Unfortunately this does occasionally happen, particularly if you have a long name. Please open a ticket in the Message Center of your account and explain the error you receive, and ask them to assist you in getting your card activated. They should respond within 24 hours.

Please feel free to hit me up directly if you need your request expedited. If you do email me, please provide the email address associated with your Paxum account, along with your ticket #.

Email is best on the weekend - [email protected]

Thanks, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
