We had added this camera as a B camera, this allows us to us a complete range of lenses, while still using the EX1 for dialogue scenes.

IMO Cherry is an amateur who has good ideas but not the budget, training or experience to carry them off. Often his trailers are confusing without getting the message he wants to convey over to the viewer. He doesn't have the experience that a professional would have to have to sell his work. This last one shows he is learning.

I never ever attempted to move into this market. I knew where the money was for me and learned the hard way over the years how to get a good performance out of a girl. For the work I was doing. I did progress from a very basic level to a pretty successful magazine shooter and the Astral Blue videos sold well.

Just never had any illusions I could produce what Max does now.

And for Cherry to do what he wants to, this is the level he needs to be at. As there are already others at that level. Max isn't alone.

Sony have put the CMOS chip they use in the P3 and FS100 cameras in this small NEX 5N shooting full HD at 25 and 50 fps (for us Europeans and 24p for the US) encoding at 23 Mbps on to normal cards.

Get a Nikon to NEX adapter to use all Nikon lens, or other adapter to use other lenses.

Records sound but only good for guide track, but works as a B camera for the more expressionistic shots. and at 350 pound 400 euros 500 dollars .....

Nope, don't know the talented Max Candy or the arrogant little phony woman creep in real life. Never met anyone with the misfortune to work with the latter. He just spammed the hell out of a ton of my sites a while back and refused to stop until I took it to his host. I would have just clicked spam on his emails, only he kept sending bulk emails to different sites from different email accounts and saying how everyone producing adult content of any kind is clearly worthless so we should send all our traffic to his unsuccessful leaky affiliate program. All while pretending he is a woman and acting like he should get freebies out of sisterhood or pity charity for chicks or something. I really dislike the help-the-pathetic-girl routine, especially when a man is doing it.

If he hadn't contacted so many of my sites so many times with the same rude pitch, I probably wouldn't have noticed him. But someone should have taught him that he might not want to be such a rotten human being because there is such a thing as attention you don't want.

Cheap! I'll have you know this is one of the best the Belorussian photo industry makes. The job I had hunting this little beauty.

f8mm F4 fish eye with 180 degree field of view. The other lens is a Nikon 800 mm F8 , quite a dark lens but with the new sensitivity of these new large sensors having a new lease of life.

I can't help you with the buffering or chip capacity, is it similar to the flux capacitor ?

I was talking about the camera the lens was fitted to. That doesn't look very professional, maybe you could tell us more about it, like model number. Buffering occurs when a cheaper camera has to stop filming to transfer the information to the chip, chip size I'm sure you know about.

Where were you trained as a photographer and cinematographer and what diplomas did you achieve. What school taught you to shoot this work?

For the US it shoots 60p and 24p full 1920 x 1080 in AVCHD at 28 Mbps, The noise looks very low indeed and the ASA goes up 8 stops, and it look very clean at 800ASA. Also I expected it to be disabled in some way, you know the $15000 cameras chip in a $500 camera, but no the shutter time can be varied to from 1/4sec to a 1/4000, so for static shots no need for NDs.

The low profile of the camera is also fun, it can almost go anywhere....

I'm just pointing out the huge difference in his work. The images are amateur, the video I took the screen grabs from was clearly awful. Then he produces something like the train ride and soldier on the boat scene.

Some cameras write to RAM memory first, so that they can photograph a few frames very fast, after the RAM fills up the speed drops as the pictures have to be written to the memory card.

Got to be honest for $700 approx and does away with the need of a video camera and a stills camera, great buy. Where is the hot shoe for a trigger and the mike socket?

Does this camera offer any kind of image stabilization when shooting video? Either on the body or the lens?
