Do you know any WP membership plugin that should support Verotel?

You know guys I draw porn when I don't do design stuff...
Time ago I've got advice from some of you to make a site with my drawings and to start earning from it. Anyway - I'm that close of launching it - that means I got enough content for a short start - I even did some free requests on some art forums around - as a way to get some fans and to advertise what I do.

So here it is:

1. I got the domain name
2. I got the hosting
3. I got the .net and .org with the same name of the domain
4. I chose the WordPress as CMS - Because of some strange reason I was avoiding WordPress and it's use, probably because I was getting use to look at it as a blogging instrument that people use it to share useless information......(I don't think so anymore, so don't hate me) - but now I can't stop picking and tickling it... come on - I can't afford paying $x,xxx+ for a proper CMS....
5. I got up to 200+ files with .... dirty drawings awaiting to be uploaded, and 3 different comic strips/ in progress, not done yet/ - that's the content for a start I made the past 2 months - maybe it's not enough, but I'm trying to figure out that WordPress membership plugin and which one would be better for my needs. When I'm done with the above I will start polishing my skills with flash animations... I guess I will animate people getting fuck... because I don't get any.

So my question is: do you know any other WP membership plugin that should support Verotel ? Even a paid ones ? Those plugins that has Paypal don't work with porn - I guess.

Just some heads up before any response of yours:

Okay - probably most of the gfy guys are not interested of reading about building a porn cartoon site like the one I'm about to do, but I've seen couple of guys going around - looking for where to publish their original comics and stuff. I've been through this and I was waiting for some publishing company to answer my call - that may take ages or never to respond - especially the last option.

If you have original content but enough fans and growing.... ahem...cough... then you can start thinking of doing something by yourself ... like some very sexy cool rocking guys at gfy... I have myself in mind. ...


The idea of this thread is to help the guys who want to make something like that, but don't know how to start. Like I did.

First you should have a regular job, because you have to pay some bills on road. haha...

1. Get a hosting - check - amerinoc
2. Get domain name - checked...
3. Get .org and .net from the same name, to avoid any duplicate shit from another guys- checked
4. Choose a CMS - for poor guys like me - WordPress - checked
5. Get a design to show your stuff in some shape - check the demo:

6. Find someone to integrate your design into WP.

Okay - we have the main stuff. Now - all this should be integrated. I'm not WP wise, but had to find someone who's familiar with this process.
Some of you commended me Fris. It was hard for me to find him online, because he seems to be busy or he's on moving all the time.
We had talk and we agreed to pay him in advance, before he start working. He also wanted me to provide him the design sliced into html + css, which I also did.
That part is done (design, slicing, paid) and I'm waiting for demo from his side today, or at least at the end of the week. I'm pretty sure he will do his magic and the site will have all the functionality that can will make.

7. The other part that awaits my action is signing up with ... payment processing company.
I had some brief talks with Nikky and she was frank and direct enough to explain me with simple words what the guys from Verotel did. Thank you Nikky, you're awesome - /the good way/! So I'm heading with CCBill.

I had some talks with two spanish speaking guys - Jorge Espinoza and Carlos Fuentes... they were answering me a day or two after my post, but I count that with the time difference, even though I work on US timing - sleep at day, work at nite.

In the meant time I'm doing cheap commissions for the guys - which all will go inside my members area!

Strongbox can fill that role, sitting between Wordpress and the processor(s).

Magic Members is WAY over complicated for most people's needs, like running Microsoft Word every time you want to write an email.

There are simple http-auth plugins that are very light weight and simple, literally 99% less code than amember or magic members.

We think Strongbox is the best way.

On our first talk with fris he told me he's gonna use magic members on it. I have to admit that I'm not aware of any of the plugins, so I had nothing to do but to trust the professional with his choice of plugin for the membership area. Probably fris may take a part of this conversation in order to make the things more clear...

Guys, this project I intend to make it public in it's building and development - the idea is to be helpful not only to me, but to guys who want to make something like that. The principals of building site like that probably are similar, although the content in mine can be considered as different.
No money in porn ?! I'm curious to check that. If I don't make it, then there's no money FOR ME. Not to everyone. If I make it - then everyone can make it.
If the integration part pass soon, then other stuff will come - and I will share with you - or those who are interested.

BTW if you ever need our services within a low budget, we might be able to trade for some art. I'm thinking about adding a virtual assistant within Clonebox, Throttlebox, and Strongbox to show you around and help webmasters accomplish what they are trying to do. Like for Clonebox, instead of just buttons saying "Retrieve Files" and "Server is Down" there would be a little character asking "is your server down?" and "would you like me to help you retrieve some files?".

Sure thing - I'm always open for good deals. And love to spread my art like seed everywhere it's possible/ even on the impossible places. Please send me e-mail with the details of your offer and what you need me to do on my behalf.

Fris is currently integrating my theme, and I asked him in mail to take a look at the thread here in order to hear his professional opinion about that plugin part.


As I mentioned several times /somewhere/ I want the process of building this site to be public/like a tutorial to the guys who want to built one. There are some fellow artists who are interested in making site themselves, so I'm about to post this thread ahead so they can see that too.

I'm ready to share the experience I got in these 4 months and half / and even afterwards - of asking, research etc. in one thread to those who are interested, hoping it would be helpful.
People who are involved in this project one way or another (including me as web designer ) should be considered in future projects like that.

I will post the list of good guys who helped me one way or another with advices, talks or whatever I asked ot had talk with in some of the next replies in this thread, so I will ask the guys on gfy to show them love and respect - the good way.

There's a tiny plugin for Wordpress that arts rhe username based on the standard variable REMOTE_USER. That's simple because it just tells Wordpess to use the same standard that everything else has used for decades, including Strongbox. We veloce in "do one thing and do it well". Now if the people writing content management systems works stop getting confused and thinking they are designing security systems ...






That is correct, Strongbox is neither a content management system nor a payment processor. It's an authentication and authorization system.

Sad news . Unfortunately Fris wont be able to do the integration of my
project due to the many projects he have in list to finish.
Because I'm looking to finish my project soon, we agreed that he should bow out the job
