You can go up there to view the pool, but to use the pool you have to stay in the hotel.

I stayed there a couple of nights in December 2010 and went to the pool several times, it's amazing. The hotel suites are nice as well.

Singapore is an amazing city, everyone speaks English, great attractions and hotels but it's a tad hot/humid. We hit universal studios there, was cool, casinos sucked/crowded tho.

The airport is an attraction in itself. Go... once!
