![]() While I was not impressed with the third installment compared to the first two, I think this is the better Batman adaptation. I am not a fan of Christian Bale either, but I think he makes for a better Batman. This was one of the better trilogies IMHO.
That being said, what I liked the most was that the same characters would show up in later movies, like Scarecrow. It was more like the TV series or comic books I grew up on. The old nemesis would reappear later to give it 'one more try' or would be working in partnership. We'll see if I feel the same about, "The Dark Knight Rises", once it's out on DVD or TV. There are some movies (despite seeing it in IMAX) that I do not care for in the theaters (Bond films, The Town, Heat, Company Men, LOTR), but later come to appreciate when they come out later. Odd. |
