Saturday I did some serious drinking and I am still feeling the effects of it today.

I remember the days of being able to drink all night then the next day I was perfectly fine. Clearly those days are gone. . .

Yeah, once I had kids I started to see my alcohol tolerance slowly slip away.

My kids never knew if I drank too much and had a hangover, they still required my normal attention.

Then as I got older my body just didn't like it as much ... upset stomachs, horrible hangovers, just too old to feel like that. The last two shows, I haven't drank and been in bed early.

And I'm only 31.

The message has been received loud and clear. The funny thing is I haven't had anything to drink in several months. I went over intending to maybe have a few drinks with everyone and the problem was the drinks we were making you couldn't taste the booze in. It's hard to understand why in the year 2012, people don't seem to grasp that you need to drink a lot of water to process alcohol. Drink lots of water while you get drunk = No hangover. Drink no water while you get drunk = bad times.

Same here.. I gave up drinking shots since 2001Q3 and I don't even miss it at all. A few beers is perfectly enough for me nowadays.
