I would not read too much into a US District ruling that a suit may continue with only a narrowed complaint.

Quote:
[V.] Conclusion

For the foregoing reasons, the motions to dismiss are GRANTED as to the separate market for affirmative registrations of domain names within TLDs connoting or intended exclusively or predominately for adult content. This market is inadequately pled. Accordingly, the Third and Fifth Causes of Action are DISMISSED. The Third Cause of Action is also dismissed because there is no cause of action for ?conspiracy to attempt to monopolize.? Plaintiffs are GRANTED leave to amend their pleadings. The motions to dismiss are DENIED in all other respects. If Plaintiffs wish to file an amended complaint, they must do so by September 9, 2012. ...

Looks like the wound on ICANN is starting to bleed out slowly. Hopefully it will be ripped wide open.

Whether the lawsuits continue for both ICANN and .XXX or one minus the other, answers might start coming out on how .XXX was passed, when the industry didnt support it and the GAC said no. All while preventing that shit even further from ever getting mandated..

for nothing i spent 400$ for very expensive .xxx domains other than gTLDs basically I am from India here hosting website is prohibited and lost money inspite if I register .com or .co would have earned some money but ultimately I lost it registering .xxx domains and there are millions who lost huge money on .xxx domains with lot of hopes that they get returns but icm ruins their investments.
