But didn't NameCheap have DNS problems about a year ago? it really doesn't matter where you have your domain registered it's safe, it's your DNS and hosting that will get you fucked. The only thing I use a registrar for is buying domains and occasionally forwarding domain until i'm ready to use it on my server.
GoDaddy is popular so easy target, NameCheap is not all that cheap and I wouldn't trust them with hosting or non-redirect dns for a domain. I have about 70+ domains with NC cost me more to renew than with godaddy |
