HMS Bounty (Replica)

For those that haven't seen it, the HMS Bounty was lost in the storm along with 2 crew members. The ship was used for the movie Mutiny on the Bounty, Pirates of the Caribbean, Treasure Island and many more.

It had a pretty significant film history and was a fully functional replica of the original. I hate to see stuff like this get lost as it will likely never be replaced. The Captain and one crew member were also lost.

Yeah, I was watching reports on that. What a serious shame to lose that ship.

Any word on where it was coming from, or going to?

Think it was trying to get out of the path of the storm. It was likely in port so most likely they took it out to sea to get away from the storm as large boats are usually safer at sea in a storm than in a port.

Yeah, caught this, very sad.

Then you read this about the woman who died:

Quote:
"The last time I spoke to her, she told me, 'If I go down with the ship, remember how happy I was,''' Christian's mother, who is also named Claudene, told ABC News Monday night.
Very sad.
