Best earbuds on the market?

I'm looking for a good pair of earbuds that also have a microphone built-in, for use with Skype, etc. My feeling is Beats are over-hyped, over-priced. I hear the same about Bose.

Input from the real audio guys?

I use these and they are great.

http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-S4i-Pr...ref=pd_sim_e_2

They far exceed my old ones costing $179.00

Holy fuck. I think I'm on my fifth replacement this year for lost ear buds. I'd go nuts spending $70/pop.

I also always forget to bring them on trips and end up buying some skulls in airport gift shops.

I am not sure about the Bose earbuds, but the Quiet Comforts are very good. I have had Beats Studios, which cost the same price and are not nearly as good of a headphone. I hear Klipsch earbuds are very good though.

Beats are nothing more than good marketing so they can sell average headphones at an inflated price.

I will refrain from cell phone jokes.

Don't bother with Bang&Olufsen, they look gorgeous but didn't last long. And overpriced.

I am not a big fan of earbuds, but want something smaller to hook to my camera instead of the Sony studio headphones I have now.

I like the Denon AH-C300 Urban Raver.

Monster have been suckering idiots with the same schtick for years. It's awesome marketing. Take a $1 cable, add a brand, charge $500 for it.

Now, they have Dr Dre to add as the brand and deaf fucksticks actually think they sound good. The power of marketing. Love someone who actually thinks Beats sound good to hear a really good set of headphones just to see the look on their poor little sucker faces!

Get noise-cancelling headphones or noise-cancelling ear buds. I recommend SONY.

I was actually going to mention Monster.. Overpriced crap, but so many people fall for their bullshit while us smart ones get better cables at drastically lower prices.

Monoprice baby! Got all custom length and higher quality HDMI cables for between $5-$12 each. Should go into the rebranding business!

This is where I buy my cables.. I gave 2 hdmi cables which I bought from there and both cost me MAYBE $22 with shipping and they are quality cables.

I recently got the Bowers and Wilkins C5 buds and I would say they are even better than the Sennheiser IE8 and certainly much much better than my Klipsch S4A's.

Walmart brand for $2.95 - cannot go wrong with that value and you can keep losing them every day.

Sounds like something from Klipsch will be the winner. Now it's between the $70 and $170.

i've switched to over the ear. I have yet to try out the new Apple earbuds that came with my iphone5. I noticed some loss in hearing from wearing earbuds so I stopped all together. I not regularly flush my ears every 3-4mons and wear over the ear or no headphones at all.

I love the skull candy fix in ears... First earbuds that fit my ears nicely and are comfy enough to sleep in even.

See I got these too and I think the S4i has no low end at all, I got better bass out of the apple earbuds.
