No idea what you are talking about, but I'll bite - if this is theme related, then just download all the .php theme files and edit them; I use Handy File Find and Replace (old, free version) to run a search of all the files, but I am pretty sire that there are other programs too.
Once you find the files that you want to edit, just edit them and re-upload, does that make sense? |

I don't really understand what you have going on either. It would help to see the site. But, I would suggest getting yourself the add-on for FireFox called FireBug. It's a great development tool that will let you move your cursor over the areas of your website and it will give you the file location for the elements on the page. Just one of many great things the tool offers. I'm sure that will help you. I use it all the time.

After reading your post again, I believe you're talking about breadcrumbs. This can be enabled by SEO plugins, other plugins, custom themes, etc. Use the tool I suggested to locate what file the piece of code is in and remove it

remove the breadcrumbs from your theme, but its always good to have them so they can navigate back
