is Google updating the search algorithm? Big traffic drop
I noticed that 2 of my sites had big google search traffic drops yesterday/today. Not really xxx adult site, both have quality content. They have keywords in the site url but not spamming keyword, more like a site "trademark".
I know google did the update to "punish" sites with keyword spamming in url but that was 2 weeks ago. Is the new update rolling out right now? This really sucks especially because one of site has decent traffic and it's more like they punished more generic name - imagine if they punished dunkingdonuts.com for Dunkin' Donuts search term. Hopefully it is just a middle of the update. anyone seeing any drop in the traffic in past 2 days ,mainstream or not, with sites that have keywords in domain? |

"Hurricane Sandy" is the latest step Google is taking to reward high quality websites. It should affect approximately 0.67% of all searches.
