I ran across a few of my old domains that were currently parked and inquired on what they were asking for each of them.. All of them are priced at 10-100x what I sold them for.... and I know it is only what someone is willing to pay... but I was curious especially as far as a long-term hold.... just like real estate, .com's can only go up in price? Way up?

Or will they come up with some other system etc. ? categories by extensions, such as adult .xxx only?

.com's have risen in the aftermarket historically. if i had to predict, they will continue to rise. with regards to how new extensions affect .com valuations, thus far imo it has made the .com more desirable. the top dawgs have the .com's in general.

when the onslaught of new extensions hits, might have an affect. nobody knows if it will dilute .com or continue to assist with establishing .com as the go to extension for business.

Besides .com .net and .org, are any extensions in high demand?

Is there any FREE websites that show the complete domain history of "all owners" not just the current one?

Isn't there already like 20 different extensions already available?

.com .net .org - I rarely see anything else used myself

no. DomainTools.com is the only source I know of that has the data available (paid).

Yes, there are some sites that show you complete history and registrar and dns, you will need to investigate a bit. No need to pay.

I also use a site that shows you the deleted domains for the day so you can grab some good domains with history and traffic.
