WordPress trends in 2013
I've been following WPwatercooler since it started. And with the start of the year, the guys are talking about Wordpress trends on 2013. Today's topic "WordPress Web Trends for 2013" with Suzette Franck, Elizabeth Shilling, Sé Reed, Steve Zehngut, Jon Brown, Dave Jesch, Chris Lema and out host Jason Tucker.
The video is 31 minutes long but I took the liberty of gleaning the salient points of the discussion. - about and the difference between "Post formats" and "Post custom types". - Wordpress being used more for application environment than a blogging software - why Tumblr can be in competition with Wordpress, but how Tumblr would lose - how 3-dimensional design will be occurring more and more specifically for mobile use. - people will start looking at their designs a lot more and designing around the content they want to show |

I for one see the ff:
1. Mobile friendly and responsive themes 2. CSS3 and HTML5 3. Easy to use and setup 4. More interactive sliders 5. More plugin integration for already made templates 6. More dummy content to be provided for ready-to-go web masters. |

Any mention of one secure, working release that doesn't have to be updated every fucking week?
