50mbps Dedicated Server
Hey...
I have an old server since "1999" Dual Xeon (3 Ghz) 4 GB RAM 2x500 GB SATA Managed Since price dropped so much these days how is right price to pay ? Or better take a new server with better prices ? Please i need some opinions, or quotes

179 bucks for a managed server with 50 mbps is not bad, if you are happy i would stay where you are

Do you mean 2009 rather than 1999? A 14 year old server wouldn't have SATA drives in it... or 4GB of RAM, probably.
If the host has public pricing (rather than custom quotes) see how your $179/mo compares to their current offerings. Remember that they can do it a little cheaper since the server hardware is paid off. I renegotiated my monthly pricing about a year ago and the host knocked off 25%. By then the server was about 2 years old. |
