Looking for a calender plugin/widget...
I'm looking for a monthly calender plugin for a wordpress site that gives me the ability to put a widget in the side bar that lists whatever is on the calender for the specific day when a customer looks at the site.
I did a search for calender plugins, and there's like a bazillion of them. I'm getting a cold, and my head is bugging out, so I figured it might be quicker and easier to ask the wordpress gods of gfy. Any help is much appreciated. ![]() |

I still can't post links so i can just give you names. Go to wordpress org and find it
this one is very powerfull, but I do not know if you like layout of widget. I do. And also you can control many calendars (import-export events) and many other features - All-in-One Event Calendar from Timely this one is more simple, but maybe is enough for you: Events-Calendar by snumb130 |

Thanks, I'll check them both out.
I guess some more details of what I want to do would help. Basically, I'm revamping the website of the Tae Kwon Do school my son goes to. They currently have a monthly class schedule, but they also frequently have other events going on. I want to put everything on the schedule, including daily class times. And then what I would like is to be able to display in the sidebar something like: Today's Classes: 4:30 Mini Ninjas 5:00 Little Ninjas 6:00 Junior TKD (7-12 year olds; white & yellow belts) 6:45 Junior TKD (7-12 year olds; green belts & up) 7:30 Adult TKD (13 and up) Which of course I would have all entered into the monthly calender. Preferably, it could also link to the monthly calender. And of course if there's any other event listed on that day on the monthly calender, it would display it as well (i.e. Women's Self Defense Seminar). Obviously, I don't want to have to edit the daily display, just plug stuff in once a month. |
