We have a conservative moron for a Prime Minister right now, who has America envy. He took credit for our strong banking system and mild recession while the rest of the world was crumbling with bad debt and economies. Yet here we sit with the highest deficit by any Canadian government ever in our so called oil rich country.

The only thing you hear about Canada down there is the winter storms that come from the north and the pipelines we will be laying down in your great land to ship all our oil to you.

Of course we have politicians, they are the people who are constantly coming up with more ways we can pay taxes. The US fought wars over such things, we just bitch, but we would regardless because it's our national past time.

Not quite, thats a news guy for the cbc. there are some threads on canadian politics here but being that the majority of people here are american, i guess conversation tends to go that way. canadian politics aren't as interesting either typically.
