I need an indoor plant/tree

I want something 3-5 feet tall, a little growth potential would be fine. I want it to be more of a skinny tree with leaves than a bush sort of thing. I'm going to go to Home Depot today to check out what they have available, but am looking for suggestions.

Corn Plants are relatively hardy and therefore easy to care for.

I would not get a ficus because they are fairly easy to shock which will cause them to start dropping their leaves.

Two words: rubber plant.

Grows tall, looks good, and it won't get you arrested.

You are becoming quite the homemaker Sly. Scented candles, stocking the bar, indoor plants... you are going to be slaying the ladies.

I was going to suggest this as well. My mom's got a few that were passed down from her grandmother - they last forever and don't need much fuss at all.

Get a Money Tree. It supposed to bring you good luck and wealth. They are also easy to grow and maintain.

Dracena are great, and require extremely little water. Nice effect, too. We got ours at home depot

Also, Craigslist is a great source for house plants that people are tired of. Some are really large!

Good luck!

Okay, I bought a plant called something like Snake Plant. It's pretty cool, looks like a bouquet of swords!

And then I got this guy, I like him?
