Anybody owns turntables for vinyl music?

Just found some cool turntables:

more: http://turntables.lt/index.php/products

I am wondering, how many musicians still release vinyl records? Even DJ's are muving to digital, which is sad f course.
Are there any vinyl fans on GFY?

I have a analog to digital turntable. Comes in handy. Still a fan of vinyl. Our latest record came out on a 7" first before CD. Fans love to collect em.

I too have two SL-1200 turntables, although mine are old MK2's (purchased new way back in the day).

When it became obvious that the music industry was moving from vinyl analog records to digital CDs, I went out and bought a dozen diamond needles in case they ever became obsolete (suckers never wear out - half of the needles are still in the original packages).

I'm in the market for a new turntable, anyone have suggestions for a good one that won't chew up records? Looking in the $150 - $300 range.

I would if I had more time and my records back, Ex kept (and probably threw away) over 300 house records I bought back in the days. (2000-2003)

I was going to sell them but was told to keep them around as they don't make them anymore, they are MK2 by the way... still have the Stanton trackmaster II Needles.
Sold the DJM 300s and CDJ 700s

Poll results surprised me, I expected way less than 50% to own it, maybe 25% or so. It turned out to be 100%..

I have two 1200 mk2s that have been sitting in storage for years. I can't bring myself to sell them, even though I was always a hack.

Thats like 2 new vinyls every day for almost 30 years or something. So at the peak of buying it was even more. Impressive
A lot of money there.

When I think of the amount of money I spent, it's almost as much as I made playing the clubs until the late 90's when I started making serious money spinning
Also When I joined the record pool, then it became cheaper to own vinyl.
