Help me Setup this White Label Cam

I want to setup a white label with Camdough but whatever I try it doesn't work.
I contacted support, still waiting for them to get back to me.

Hoped some of you might know more than me, I never set up a white label before and I am lost around all this CNAME business.

Anyway, these are the instructions provided by camdough

And this is what it looks like in namecheap

I added cams247 to the front but I doubt it's right as no subdomain has been created yet.

Anyone?

I have no idea how Namecheap's panel works, so I could be wrong, but wouldn't the "host name" part (where it currently says "@" and "www") be where you create a (new) name of "cams247" (if that's what you want your subdomain to be).

And then where you have http and cams247, and stuff crossed out, that should be where you put affiliate.camdough.com.

IOW, create a new hostname of cams247, and then put affiliate.camdough.com in the box next to it, under IP Address/URL.

Edit: plus I'm assuming you have to add your domain in the Camdough panel.

2nd Edit: maybe you don't want a subdomain, you just want to use www (which is effectively a subdomain), in which case just put affiliate.camdough.com where you have "cams247" above.

3rd Edit: and I wouldn't worry about the trailing dot they mention. I would assume web panels like that handle that for you anyway.

So in @ I put my domain name

and in www I put affiliate.camdough.com

I can't imagine this would work but I will go test now. Thanks.

Good to hear. But don't sound quite so amazed that something I said 'actually worked'.
