The U.S. Treasury Department's anti-money laundering unit, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), issued guidance in March that labeled digital currency firms as money transmitters, thereby obliging them to put in place anti-money laundering programs and register with FinCEN.

Tokyo-based Mt. Gox, a top exchange for Bitcoin, the best known virtual currency, failed to register with FinCEN earlier this month and had its U.S. dollar accounts seized by authorities.

Due to ASIC chips is GPU mining of bitcoin non profitable already. Switch to LTC or buy Avalon/BFG devices.

Yes, it was just Frank - him gone, bitcoins gone.

Really the next meme popping it is libertyreserve bust, bitcoins next?

I really wished to support bitcoins but I am unsure my developer could complete it before that all its exchangers are seized.

Frank has a cult following on the BTC-e troll box as the nick "fontas" ....

It's nothing short of ludicrous how much notoriety he has there
