2013 NHL Draft
Tomorrow. Anyone going to watch?
I'm curious to see round 1 pick movement. Calgary could do really well if they play their picks right. They could get immediate talent and a couple of top prospects too. My Leafs are 21st pick (round 1) and I dunno if they're thinking of trading up or not. I read today that they're seriously making a run at Vincent Lecavalier, though.

I'm really excited to see what happens tomorrow. With the cap coming down so much, there looks to be a lot of big names being traded tomorrow. Plus with the top 10 players being so good, it should provide for a lot of jockeying as teams look to jump up.

Can't wait. This is a special draft, one of the best ever. I badly want the Sabres to trade up into the top 3 for a shot at MacKinnon or Drouin but teams drafting in those spots almost never trade out of them especially when the top of this draft has franchise type players.
I'm hoping Nichuskin is still available at #8, he's a big train of a kid with huge offensive skills who played against men this year in the KHL. I love Max Domi but he's what the Sabres already have too much of, small forwards. Future superstars and stars in this one - all drafts have busts but it's hard to imagine any of the top 8 picks this year not making the NHL and at least half of them excelling.
