Might explain how somebody went on a shopping spree in Miami for a few thousand on my GF's card. Wouldn't have even noticed it until the next statement had I not checked up on charges from a Vegas trip.

Frankly, I'm amazed that a programmer would choose to store credit card info in a database that has read access from a public web server. But not really that surprised. :-\
