Is it actually a good thing (for us)? If there were no stigma attached, we wouldn't be able to sell this stuff. I've actually often wondered if the big porn companies were actually behind pushing tougher regulations, like 2257, in order to squeeze out the free-for-all. Afterall, they can easily comply whereas, it's much more difficult for the little guy to. I guess somewhat like Vegas pushing to shut down online gambling in the U.S.

If you want to look at who the real problem is it is the right wing politicians pandering to the religious extremists that support them.

Also, some behavior in the word wide porn business (by a few) encourages these sort of laws.

The idea that it is the "big boys of porn" trying to put the little guys out of business is ludicrous. However, the burdens that are placed on the small operator are burdensome, onerous and just short of draconian.

That's ridiculous. If porn & erotica were de-stigmatized the market for it would increase exponentially.
