Another milestone of sorts - today is the 9th anniversary since I started posting on GFY.

So much has happened around here in that time. GFY has undergone at least 3 ownership changes (or 4 if you count the shadow group running it now), loads of Mods (Eric seems to be the one constant, and he is rarely around anymore), and tons of bannings (plus even more fake nicks).

The personality of the board has changed over time. For better or worse, I'm not sure. I get out of it what I am looking for from it, which is why I am still around.

Although I am here frequently for the shits and giggles, I also frequent GFY to promote my site and work, to network with others, as well as to learn about trends or new developments in the industry, and to try and get a sense about who I should and should not consider conducting business with.

The bottom line is, that it is what it is, and it is what you make it.
