The moral panic in the UK intensifies.

The most depressing point when reading this stuff, and when hearing the govt response, is how little these people really understand about basic aspects of the internet.

However for you non UK peeps this is very important as well, politicians in other countries are already saying they will follow the UK in adopting porn "opt-in" at ISP level.

When a politician smells a vote they rarely let common sense and logic get in the way.

Thats because the fool that wrote that article does not realise that a domain can be hosted anywhere in the world.

The stats they refer to are regarding the .co.uk extention - not where the domains are actually hosted.
