Twitter was hopping tonight with news that LA Direct Models has been sending out a performer to work that they knew had hepatitis for awhile now. Lisa Ann found out about it and is understandably not happy about it and sharing this news with others so they don?t work with this guy and risk getting infected.

She said that she released this information to protect herself and other performers and also to say that putting others at risk to make a bit of money isn?t right. I have to agree.

If this is true .... If LA Direct knew that they were sending someone with hepatitis out .. they should go to jail. As should the performer.

seems weird, derek's always been pro with me, hell i talk to him every time i book with la direct and fill him in on the shoot, etc. i always thought he was too professional. lisa hasn't been with ladirect for ages, not tht that matters, who's repping her anyway?

Lisa had her own talent agency and knows everyone. I believe she and her machine rep themselves.

That lady works her ass off.

i'm trying to remember when that was, her agency.........had to be years ago right?

anyhoo, her machine isn't making booking her very visible, i had assumed a couple months ago, when i noticed she was no longer on lad, she was takign a break.

Apparently Alex Gonz tested positive for something in June at CET. There is no verification at this point that he tested positive for Hep C, that is just rumor mill, but it is well founded as you will see.

CET Marked him as “unavailable” on APHSS and neither CET nor APHSS contacted anyone and said we may have a potential problem on our hands. They didn’t contact the agent, or any performers or anyone, he was simply marked “unavailable” to anyone in the biz who uses APHSS and MOST DO NOT it could be little more than Chlamydia or Gonorrhea.

For some reason Alex then went to an outside lab (not CET or TTS, who were both, at the time testing for Hep C) he got the standard required panel without the Hep C test and that clinic sent the blood to Labcorp to be tested. Labcorp is not a testing clinic, you generally cant go to labcorp and request a test, they do the testing for clinics not private testing.

Using the Labcorp paperwork Alex continued to work knowing that most companies do not use APHSS. So to these companies he had the required paperwork with all the required tests (Hep C is not required, but it should be and remember I told talent back in May to start requiring it regardless of what the industry does)

I confirmed that LA Direct was his agency but that he had a deal with them that exempted his self bookings and most of what he did was self booked. he was booked for one sex scene in July by LA Direct that was in the time period in question, he was also booked in one scene for….Manwin. Manwin wouldn’t accept his test from Labcorp and his scene was changed to a non sex scene. At that point LA Direct told him he had to test at CET or TTS in order to work for Manwin in the future.

It is unclear how it got out that he had tested positive for Hep C, unless he told someone or someone at the testing facility did or APHSS did. So the idea that he tested positive for Hep C is deduced from the fact that he tested at CET during the time period that they were doing complimentary Hep C tests and he was marked unavailable, he then tested negative for everything else at Labcorp.

So one thing that is apparent here is that he was hiding something, and he was doing it intentionally, while he didnt fake a test if he circumvented the testing protocol to hide an STD it is the same thing.

It is unlikely that LA Direct knew for the simple reason, how would they know if APHSS or CET didn’t even tell them there may be a problem without saying what the problem was.

Another possibility is that APHSS and by association Diane Duke and The FSC knew and covered it up knowing that when it did break they could say that is why everyone should be using APHSS. Given recent things that Diane Duke has done I certainly would not put that past her. There will be a story in the next 48 hrs on that.

Had Alex simply come forward as Clover did and said hey, this might be a problem, all of this would have been avoided and instead of looking like a real douchebag Alex would be viewed as a responsible, professional performer like Clover is.

I will stay on this story as it develops, but if you have worked with Alex Gonz since say June 1st you should go to TTS and get a Hep test, TTS has agreed to extend free Hep B and C testing at least through the month of August.

So Mike.... I had some conversations tonight with people I trust who have a completely different take on this. They say there was intense pressure to accept the non-standard test and move forward with shoots. Which would mean those that knew .. knew rendering the finger pointing irrelevant.

Those that knew and pushed forward anyway should face criminal charges IMO.

And regardless of the legalities. Agents, producers & other performers etc should only accept the industry standard tests.
