Here is what I would do.

1. Get rid of that like facebook thing (you can have that inside)
2. Replace 1 with a big ass registration button.

On the registration page:
- What is the difference between a member and a model?
- Why does it say BASIC?

In general, you don't say what the site is about. So unless you do that before people land on the page, you'll get a lot of people going "wtf is this?"

When it comes to making people register, buy, do something somewhere - try to avoid giving them a chance to "think" or ask themselves questions. Every time that happens, there is a (usually pretty big) chance they give up and go do something else.

Also I didn't register, you ask me too many things and once inside, the system looks like you took something pre-made and tried to style it. No offence, but do better here.

The fact that I have to register to view your cam site would make me instantly close that tab.

Why the barrier to entry? You want to grab details when you need them and to browse the site you shouldn't need shit from me.

I'm not sure if you are changing it as I saw it or if I saw the correct site, but I just see a background with a girl on a beach and a box to register.

If I were a surfer I would leave immediately. There is nothing telling me what the site is or what I get when I register so there is no incentive for me to register.

Yeah, I agree with all the above. I would create an intro page (splash page) explaining what the site is about and why you should register. Then have a register button that links to this page.
Pointless to have something like this as the homepage.

To be fair when I link the site from ads and such I link to freelivefriends.com/newsfeed or when a model gives out her link they will see that first i.e. freelivefriends.com/emmaink

Why don't you create a demo account you can let people use to look inside and check the site out? Then in a few days when you have some feedback you can shut that account down.

This way people can go inside and look around and tell you what they think.

On the other hand, the inside of the site can be the most amazing thing anyone has ever seen, if people don't know that they won't register.

Having looked inside here are my thoughts.

The layout is simple to use. I like that everything is right on one page and easy to find. There appear to be a good number of models here which is nice.

Here are my questions:

Is this a models' directory site or is this a cam site or both? I ask this because I clicked on several models and saw no info on cams or anything like that. Most of them had a few pictures and some had links to their twitter/blog/clip stores etc.

If this is just a models' directory I guess the name doesn't really fit it. If it is cam site, how do I see who is online and where the cams are? What is the live aspect of the site?

Why do I need credits? What can I do with credits? Are these credits used to buy model's videos/pictures or chat time. It isn't really clear.

all in all I think you off to a good start. To me you just need to zero in on exactly what the site is and what is offers and then make that clear to the surfers.

Thanks Kane. The best way to describe our site is that we are a mix of mygirlfund.com and extralunchmoney.com. We are like MGF in the sense that girls can upload videos and list them on their profiles. They can then transfer those videos to a member of the site after working out a deal for credits on or off site. We are like ELM in the sense that we also have a store that users can browse when models are not online.

We are not a cam site. Well we are not a cam site anytime soon. IMO I think the reason that mfc does so well is that is has social network like features. I figured instead of starting with a cam script and working in those features I would start with the best social network I can and work in the cam script. It gives us time to grow without demanding crazy amounts of traffic from the dig.

The models.. We are very lucky to have a very large amount of models in our corner routing for our success. My other partner is a retired webcam model that has made a lot of models friends and they are doing wonders for us on twitter and Fb and things of that nature. One of our biggest compliments is actually our very plain twitter like sign in page. lol

So I guess that leaves me at this. I think your 100% right Kane. For me and the models we know what is going on here because we have all seen or used the other sites. But new members I am sure do not understand what is going on. they see hot girls/store/credits/ wheres the cams get confused and leave. MOdels that list whats for sale and how much 1 on 1 privates are on their profile make it a bit easier for members they refer but that doesnt help me with the traffic I am paying for from Juicy ads. Just like yourself if they dont click the right model then they dont see whats is going on.
What do you think I should put and where. Again I am not too worried about the join page or login page because that is rarely the first thing people see.

If it were me I would try to come up with a very clear, concise explanation of what the site is and how it works and then put a big link to that explanation page in a very clear spot so when new member's log in they can see it and get up to speed fast. There might even be a way to redirect first time users to a page that tells them how it works. you could also considering putting the link to the how-to/explanation on all the model's pages. This way, if you are like me and you log in, see a thumb for a hot girl and click it without looking at anything else you don't find yourself saying, "Now what?"

I think the idea is pretty good. People can find models they like, send them messages, buy their videos and arrange 1 on 1 private shows/chats etc. The trick is going to be explaining it. Maybe play up the social media aspect of it and show people how this is a site where the average guy can meet and chat with hot models or something like that. One thing I would suggest is to make two separate pages. Right now you have a how it works page, but it isn't all that clear and it is for both users and models. If I click that and see that all the girls are hear just to make money I might bail right away. Make a different area for models.

I think if you can explain to people what it is and how it works in a way that is not confusing people will use it.
