How to use Sex pinboards to drive traffic?

Hi there,
I'm not expecting you to tell me your "money making secrets" but could someone just point me in the right direction to use sex.com and other pinboards to drive traffic to my blog?

I started using tumblr a few days ago and driving traffic from there is very intuitive.
But I've signed up with sex.com and am struggling figuring things out.

Any direction/tutorial?

Forget about sex.com. You will not get that much traffic from them (they use to send traffic but now they added a pop up were the surfer has to confirm they want to exit the site). Just pin your pic to a couple of adult pin sites that do send traffic and concentrate on those.

I'm not going to tell you wich ones send the most traffic but I'm gonna give you a good one you should pin too, http://www.pinsex.com.

There's a thread here http://m.gfy.com/showthread.php?&t=1113664 with a list of pin sites. Just pin to all of them, check your stats and weed out those that don't work for you.

It also depends on what you are pinning, most surfers on pin sites like gifs, self shots and artsy porn stuff just like the tumblr surfers.

What I'm trying to figure out is if these pinboards work kind of like for tumblr, that you gotta follow people, like stuff, etc.
You're telling me to pin my photos, is that all I have to do? Just pin photos? It sounds to easy to be true... this is why I'm looking for suggestions.

If the pinboard allows embedding, you can upload your photos to the pinboard and then embed them on your own site.

You send in surfers via the embeds which may join the pinboard and repin your stuff = increased exposure for your site.

Sex.com is absolutely fucking disgraceful. They remove your webnsite link, the banners beneath your images no longer work and you can't even edit your profile. All the content we've pinned is now theirs. I guess we always knew it was coming, but still it's shitty when they start to jew out like that. Feels like I've been censored.

As an alternative, I like the look of Pinsex. Seems to have some momentum, is affiliate friendly, and looks like more than just another Pinterest clone. We should all pick one and do cross-promo, the way that camgirls do on Twitter.

It's pretty great because all you have to do is place the Sexter pin it button onto your website and let visitors pin for you.

Yeah this. The Sex.com interstitial on clicks removed any utility it had for affiliates.
