LOS ANGELES ? Another adult entertainment film star has revealed he has tested positive for HIV, XBIZ has confirmed.

It is the fourth such case reported in less than three weeks.

The male actor confirmed his diagnosis to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which for years has fought for a condom regulations in California.

?I can confirm,? the organization?s president Michael Weinstein told RadarOnline, which first reported the story. ?However, he has asked that all other information be kept strictly confidential at this time. I have nothing else to say about the performer.?

The AHF, which later disclosed to XBIZ the news, would not release details on the porn performer, including any adult film company that employed him.

On Aug. 22, porn actress Cameron Bay announced via the FSC that she had been infected with HIV. After Bay tested positive, production was shut down for about a week through a FSC moratorium.

Later, Rod Daily announced via social media that he has contracted HIV, making him the second adult film actor to announce a diagnosis with the disease in recent weeks.

And on Friday, another actor ? the third in two weeks ? tested positive, according to AHF/PASS, which immediately imposed a voluntary moratorium for adult film shoots.

Today's revelation makes it the fourth such case in three weeks.

The head of AHF is very press savvy, it just seems odd that he isn't blasting this everywhere saying, "oh look FSC doesn't even know about this one...."

Dear PASS Participants,

As promised, we are sending out updates as soon as information is available.

First, I would like to address the rumors of a fourth performer testing positive for HIV. None of the testing facilities, nor the doctors associated with the facilities, have any results of a fourth performer testing positive. This information came from AHF who is currently trying to push regulation on the industry and has, on many occasions, reported false information to the media to advance their political agenda. Just last month AHF started a media frenzy and industry scare over false information of a positive syphilis result claiming an ?outbreak? when in reality no performers were positive for syphilis. It is extremely likely that this situation is more posturing for AHF?s political agenda. Again, we have no evidence of a fourth performer testing positive for HIV.

As far as the partner identification for the third performer is concerned, all first generation partners have been identified and have retested. Results for all of the performers but one are back and all results are negative. The final result will be back tomorrow. The doctors associated with our testing facilities will teleconference tomorrow to discuss the results and next steps concerning performer testing and the moratorium.

Finally, to address some additional rumors, the doctors have confirmed that the third performer did not work with Ms. Bay or Mr. Daily.

We will continue to provide updates as we receive additional information. Thank you so much for your patience and cooperation.

Well said. I have several clients shooting with condoms in LA. The jury is still out since it hasnt been that long for most producers (PornoDan has been doing it for 6 months or so) but the feedback Im getting is that its not killing sales like everyone thinks it will.

It will definitely kill off genres of porn though - no more creampies obviously. Well not real ones at least.

I always close a video when I see a condom, I think Americans are used to having their porn a certain way.
