Well, it's bad to have Buddha at your feet, so the headboard isn't all that bad. However, you want to put it up higher than that. It should be the highest thing in the room, facing east, and not pointed at by your feet.

I have to be careful since I shoot with Asian motifs many times, and what may appear to be a simple Asian objet d'art to my eyes, could have significant religious symbolism for someone else (even though I am an atheist, for the most part I try not to deliberately offend anyone's religious beliefs).
