Media Buyers: Do you feel comfortable buying outside of your geo?
Do you let GEO scare you when you are doing a round of media buys?
IE: Targeting germany for a dating site when you dont know the language? How do you handle the creatives? Do you find a trusted translator?

no but the language barrier is annoying. I tried Italian geo a couple of times, and did very well but had pre-made banners available that I modified and also made my own

Love other geos, hire translators, rely on google, whatever... Not going to let a little language barrier affect my traffic buying.

Over the last 10+ years I've geo filtered all of my ad buys to only high quality countries US/CA/UK/AU etc... but majority US traffic. One of my mainstream sites only works on US/CA traffic as it doesn't sell a physical product but entertainment events and 90% of them take place in those 2 countries. Depends on the product/service I'm promoting where I'll buy from. If I can make it work I'll buy from anywhere. Up until this point however all of my sites see an overwhelming percentage of their traffic from the US.
